There's something unsettling about abandoned ships drifting in deep space.
Not destroyed.
Not burned out.
Just… empty.
That idea became the spark behind The Ghost Ships: Journey Into the Void.
Set in the year 3026, humanity has spread across the Orion Arm alongside alien civilizations, fragile alliances, and political tensions simmering beneath the surface. When Lieutenant Alastar Kar and the crew of the ISS Zephyr are sent on what should have been a diplomatic mission, they instead uncover a growing mystery tied to missing vessels, ancient technology, and something waiting in the darkness beyond known space.
At its core, Journey Into the Void is a story about survival, discovery, and the fear of realizing humanity may not understand the galaxy nearly as well as it believes.
I wanted the series to capture the atmosphere of classic science fiction — the tension of isolation, the wonder of exploration, and the creeping realization that some discoveries come with consequences.
But beyond the mystery and large-scale conflict, the story is also deeply personal. The characters are forced to confront fear, loyalty, sacrifice, and the question of what defines us when everything familiar begins to fall apart.
If you enjoy:
- Ancient mysteries in space
- Character-driven science fiction
- Alien worlds and civilizations
- Military and exploration themes
- Slow-building suspense with cinematic stakes
…then The Ghost Ships Trilogy may be for you.
The void is calling.
And something out there is finally beginning to answer.
